I-130
I have recd NOTICE OF ACTION (I-797E), few days back, asking for a birth certificate one for me(beneficiary) and one for my brother (petitioner). It should show BOTH parents' name , child's complete name, date & place of birth issued by civil authority.
In India, prior to 1970, reporting/registering of birth/death was voluntary. And that too with less information. Hence in my birth certificate, there is no information about my mother & place of birth.
In the said form I-797E, US-CIS mentioned about affidavits by parents/close relatives in case of insufficient information.
In my case should I submit affidavits supported by incomplete birth certificate or only affidavits?
Secondly, my case was lodged at Texas secrvice center on Jan 17, 2002 & was transeffered to california service centre. Can anybody predict for approval of my case?
