| Card Production Ordered- No Card Yet !! |
Recieved 485 approval on May 21st and On May 31, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you.
I called TSC and they told me that cases with reciept "EAC" are being delayed as they are having some problems printing finger prints on the actual card itself.
Not sure if that response makes any sense but just FYI...
My case was filed in Vermont by my lawyer and then the case was transfered to TSC back in October 07 but once the reciept # is assigned then it stays that way till the end. Yes, what the I/O told me does not make sense but had to believe something.
I see everyone received their cards in 7-10 days. Why there is a delay in mine? After approval do they again review? or what's the deal. I'm frustated now. I have to travel thru work to Europe and stamping the passport with I 551 is not an option as told by an IO that I cannot show an emergency and my card is being ordered and I should get it soon. I'm not sure what "soon" means for them.
Please help!
