Q. What are the features of Directory Service?
A. Directory Service provides a platform for the immigration lawyers to:
  • Instantly build a dynamic online presence about your law firms and the associated lawyers in terms of searchable Yellow Pages.
  • Instantly build a  full-ledged website for your own and live it by dynamically provisioning news and events to update your clients of what's going on lately.
  • Instantly build a interactive platform to communicate with your audience to attract potential clients.
  • Instantly present your firms with fully-loaded marketing tools to IimmigrationWatch.com community with thousands of unique visitors every day.

Q. Are there any rules governing my presence in the lawyer directory?
A. Yes. In order for you, as a lawyer and active bar member,  to participate in our lawyer directory , you must also agree to our Terms of Service, in addition to our Terms of Use. 

Q. How much does it cost to for me build a dynamic online presence in the Directory Service?
A. Not a penny, at least during the BETA testing stage. If you really believe it help in any sense grow your practice, you can make a donation to help us back to improve our service or develop more features for immigration community to attract more audience. Registration/Logging In

Q. Do I have to register in order to build my presence in the lawyer directory?
A. Yes. On the technical side, we have to set-up physical database to host your Yellow Pages and Websites. On the legal side, we have to present you to our community as a lawyer. 

Q. What information do I have to provide with registration?
A. When you register for an account, we will ask you for only one personally identifiable information -- your email address for contact purpose. When you build you law firms' and lawyers' profile, however, we will may ask for some public personally identifiable information, including your active bar number,  for authentication purpose.

Q. How is my personal information be used, shared, and safeguarded?

Q. Can I have more than one law firm profile under one account?
A. Yes. You can build multiple online presence for multiple firms or branch offices. 

Q. Can I have more than one lawyer profile under one account?
A. Yes. You can build multiple lawyer profile and associated then with different firm.

Q. How is my profile delivered  to the public?
A. All profiles are searchable to the public in forms of two publish types: standard -- with full exposure of your entities, and basic -- with constraint exposure of your entities. During the BETA testing stage, standard publish type is taken as default.


Website Settings

Q. What's the minimum effort I have to exert to have my own website?
A. Nothing. Upon your finishing your firm & lawyer profile feeding, a default-templated and full-ledged website will be automatically generated based on what you had just input instantly. 

You may want to customize the defaulted Home Page with your own welcome message and necessary introduction to your visitors. In order to keep your site alive, you may want to periodically update your content of In The News which keeps your clients updated of what's going on lately. Also, for maximum exposure of your entities and to keep your site more dynamic, you may want to request and set-up a forum or message board to interactively address your potential clients' concerns.

A. This feature is subject to the forum Administrator's setting. If this feature is on, you can reference any site, taking http://www.yahoo.com for example here, by using one of the following:

Q. How can I insert pictures into my presence?
A. This feature is subject to the forum Administrator's setting. If this feature is on, you can insert a picture by using one of the following:

Q. What other BBCodes can I use to format my presence?
A. Apart from [url][/ur] and [img][/img], the following BBcodes are supported provided that this feature is set as on by the forum's Administrator.

  • [b][/b] -- bold font
  • [i][/i] -- Italic font
  • [code][/code] -- whitespaces perserved
  • [center][/center] -- centerlized text
  • [size=1][/size] -- size of font
  • [color=red][/color] -- font's color: red, green, blue, pink and purple, otherwise/default black
By the way, you can use the above codes in a combination way as long as it makes sense.
