A couple of things deserve a checkpoint here.

First of all, we want to thank all of those who really care about the site's serviceability.

As you may have noticed, our site had been virtually down from 12/30/2004 to 01/09/2005 due to the web server's upgrade. During the lockout time, we received tons of emails enquiring about the site's fate. Can you hold breath to hang on for a little bit more while? At the same time, our web server was experiencing extraordinary heavy traffic than it can handle. Whenever it tried to take off, it was brought down quite soon. Till 01/09/2005 we managed to block certain traffic and gradually let it on. After two weeks tuning-up, the site is back to normal and every feature should function as it is supposed to.

We are so proud of being missed by so many users during the down time. Just for seeing your approval, we will strive to hold our breath to hang on for a little bit longer.

In order to encourage community members to help the new comer and share their experience, a new feature awarding mechanism has been launched since 01/09/2005.

Also, archives for public messages posted in the community forum have been setup for better finding messages. Later on, we will add search capability on the archives.
